Boat Trailers for Sale at Meares Marine

Shopping for a boat trailer? Our marina and boat dealership is an authorized Load Rite dealer and warranty repair center right here in Manning — which means you can buy a quality trailer and get any warranty issues handled from the same place you bought your boat. No running around to different dealers, no guessing whether a trailer will fit. We know these boats because we sell them, and we’ll make sure you leave with the right setup.

Load Rite has been building trailers since 1978, and they’re one of the most trusted names in the business for a reason. Whether you need a bunk trailer for a center console or a pontoon trailer to haul your Crest or Xcursion, we’ve got options.

Test Drive Your Next Boat on the Water — Our boats aren’t sitting on concrete. They’re floating at our marina, ready for you to take the helm. It’s the only way to know you’ve found the one. And when you find it, we’ll spec the right trailer to match right there on the spot.

Boat Trailer Sales & Services

Our boat dealer team carries Load Rite trailers to fit the boats we sell — and plenty of boats we don’t. Here’s what we offer:

New Boats for Sale

Load Rite Pontoon & Tritoon Trailers

Authorized Load Rite dealer and warranty repair center. Pontoon and tritoon-specific trailers built to haul those wider, heavier hulls. Load Rite makes both bunk and roller options. We’ll match you to the right one based on your boat’s length and weight. Browse our pontoon boats to see what trailers fit.
Pre Owned Boats

Galvanized Steel Trailers

Hot-dipped galvanized frames hold up against the elements. Great value and built for long-term durability. A solid choice if you’re hauling to Lake Marion or trailering between lakes regularly.
Xcursion Tritoon Boats

Aluminum Frame Trailers

Lighter than galvanized steel and rust-proof. If you’re near saltwater or doing a lot of miles on the road, aluminum is worth the upgrade. Long-term, they hold up exceptionally well.
Crest Pontoon Boats

Boat Trailer Sales for Stingray Center Consoles

We sell Stingray boats and stock trailers to match. See our Stingray center console boats and ask us what trailer we recommend for each model.

Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing the Right Trailer

What trailer brands do you carry at Meares Marine?
We’re an authorized Load Rite dealer and warranty repair center. Load Rite has been building boat and pontoon trailers since 1978 — galvanized steel and aluminum frames, bunk and roller styles. We carry models to fit the boats we sell: Crest pontoons, Xcursion tritoons, and Stingray center consoles. And since we handle warranty repairs, you’ve got one place to go if anything needs attention after purchase.
What's the difference between a galvanized and aluminum trailer?
Galvanized trailers have a hot-dipped zinc coating over steel — it’s tough, affordable, and handles freshwater lakes like Marion really well. Aluminum trailers cost more upfront but they’re lighter and completely rust-proof. If you’re spending time near the coast or you want the trailer to last 20+ years with minimal maintenance, aluminum is the better long-term investment. For strictly freshwater use, galvanized is the popular choice.
How do I know what size trailer I need?
It comes down to your boat’s length, beam width, and loaded weight. Pontoon trailers are wider than standard bunk trailers because of the twin tubes. When you buy a boat from us, we’ll spec the right trailer to match — nothing gets guessed. If you’ve already got a boat and need a new trailer, bring in the boat specs or give us a call with the details.
Can I buy a trailer without buying a boat from you?
Yes. You don’t have to buy a boat from us to pick up a Load Rite trailer. If you’ve got a boat that needs a new trailer, come in and we’ll figure out which Load Rite model is the right fit. We’ll need the boat’s specs — length, beam, and weight — to match you properly.

Trailer Ownership & Financing

Do you offer financing on trailers?
If you’re buying a trailer bundled with a boat, yes — we can roll it into one payment through Priority One Financial Services. Buying a standalone trailer is typically a cash or card purchase. Give us a call at (803) 478-2527 to talk through what options make sense for your situation. See our boat financing page for more details.
Do Load Rite trailers come with a warranty, and can you handle repairs?
Yes to both. Load Rite trailers carry a manufacturer warranty, and as an authorized warranty repair center, we handle warranty claims right here in Manning. No shipping your trailer off somewhere or dealing with a third party. Warranty terms vary by model — we’ll walk you through the specifics at purchase.
Do I need to register a boat trailer in South Carolina?
Yes, boat trailers are required to be registered in South Carolina if they exceed a certain weight. Most full-size boat and pontoon trailers will need to be registered with the SC DMV. We can point you in the right direction on what’s needed, but you’ll complete the registration process through the state. It’s a pretty straightforward process.
Do you service or repair boat trailers?
We handle basic trailer maintenance and can help with common parts like lights, straps, and hardware through our ship store. For major trailer repairs or welding, we’d point you toward a specialty trailer shop. But if something breaks before a trip and you need a quick fix, stop in and we’ll do what we can to get you back on the road.
